Lenton A12 Couplers are designed to splice the same diameter bars where one bar is free to move and can be rotated. Quick and easy to install, they use a unique self aligning taper threaded design providing continuity and structural integrity. Develops a higher tensile strength than lap splicing.
Lenton Transitional Couplers are designed to splice different diameter bars where one bar can be rotated.
Type P13.35 Positional Couplers are designed to be used in applications when neither bar can be rotated. Having a degree of adjustability, the P13.35 Positional Coupler can also be used as a closer between two fixed bars.
They create a mechanical connection that allows the bars to behave like a single continuous length of rebar.

To install simply tighten the lockshear bolts where upon conical ends embed themselves into the bar. The heads then shear off the bolts when correct torque has been met, giving an instant visual check for correct installation.
